Can you name a single flower variety that blooms red, white, and blue?
I am looking for a single variety of flowers that bloom in the colors red, white and blue (of course not all on the same plant) I have a rectangular flower garden that I would like to plant so that it resembles an american flag. I would like the flowers to bloom from spring through summer. I currently live in the middle of Japan, so the climate is hot and humid in the summer, with lots of rain during the spring, and late summer. The area where my flower garden is has sun for about 60%-70% of the day.
If I am not able to have a single variety of flowers, I would like flowers that all grow to be about the same height. I also need some info on when I would need to plant them from either seeds, or as plants from a nursery. If any one who answers this question could also include web sights or pictures of the flowers you are suggesting, that would be great.
You can use larkspur, they come in red, white and blue.
